I am a compassionate clinician who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, attachment, and behavior concerns. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses EMDR with clients of all ages. My approach is strengths based, non-judgmental, and trauma responsive. I accept clients from birth through the lifespan.
I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Family Services. I then continued at the University of Northern Iowa where I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis on trauma informed care. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa. I am endorsed as an Infant Family Associate through the Iowa Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, and I am also a Certified Family Life Educator and a Certified Adolescent Trauma Professional.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching comedy specials, attending concerts, and reading. My favorite animal is a llama.
